Good Glass, Kampala

#3 of 15 in Shopping in Kampala
Gift & Specialty Shop · Hidden Gem · Shopping
Many glass items such as wine and spirit bottles are not recyclable in Uganda. The result is excess garbage in already overflowing landfills. At Good Glass, we rescue a portion of this 'garbage' and turn it into unique and beautiful household items. Unlike many other recycled glass products which are melted and reshaped, the method we use to make our glasses does not involve a heating element. This ensures that our glasses are truly green, producing far fewer carbon emissions.

In addition, we are a social enterprise which aims to empower Ugandans by providing training and fair wage jobs in order to enable them to support themselves and their families.

By purchasing any of our products, you will help eliminate unnecessary landfill waste and contribute to the empowerment of Ugandans. Now that's Good Glass.
