You'll find plenty of places to visit near Zermatt: Hangebrucke Furgangen-Muhlebach (in Ernen) and Riederalp (in Riederalp). Munich, Germany to Zermatt is an approximately 7-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or take a train. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Tue) to allow enough time to take a train to Interlaken.

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
On the 13th (Tue), take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Jungfraujoch and then take in the dramatic scenery at Staubbach Waterfall. Keep things going the next day: fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, see the world from above with Skydive Switzerland, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Harderkulm.

You can take a train from Zermatt to Interlaken in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Expect a daytime high around 16°C in October, and nighttime lows around 6°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Thu) early enough to drive to Lucerne.

In north-central Switzerland, Lucerne represents a small city boasting a well-preserved old town.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Thu): wander the streets of Old Town and then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Zurich.
