Home to more than 2 million residents, Maracaibo boasts giant shopping malls and attractive parks, as well as a modern skyline that hugs the shore of an eponymous lake.
Kick off your visit on the 6th (Sun): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Chiquinquirá and then make a trip to Plaza del Rosario de Nuestra Señora de La Chiquinquirá.
