Musical Capital of Venezuela
Barquisimeto houses a population of just under 2 million people and represents the fourth-largest city in the country.Family-friendly places like Catedral de Barquisimeto and Museo de Barquisimeto will thrill your kids. Ah Mundo Barquisimeto! and VGA Galeria will appeal to museum buffs. Explore Barquisimeto's surroundings by going to Reserva Ecologica Guaquira (in San Felipe), Lomas de Cubiro (in Cubiro) and Bodegas Club Pomar (in Carora). Spend the 12th (Fri) exploring nature at Yacambu National Park.
