Nicknamed "the Rising Emirate," Ras Al Khaimah may be an unfamiliar name to many tourists, but has been tipped as the next Dubai thanks to its steady development (along with the rest of the U.A.E.) of luxury resorts, retail districts, and shopping malls.
Change things up with a short trip to Al Qela'a in Dibba Al Fujairah (about 50 minutes away). There's much more to do: discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, examine the collection at Rak Natures Treasures, take in the awesome beauty at Jabal Bil Ays, and stroll through Wadi Bih.

Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. You can also take a bus. Traveling from Dubai in November, Ras Al Khaimah is slightly colder at night with lows of 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 29th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Fujairah.

Embraced by visitors for its milder climate and captivating landscape, Hatta offers a cool escape from Dubai's heat.
On the 5th (Sat), relax in the rural setting at Emirates Bio Farm and then stroll around Wadi Hatta Park. Keep things going the next day: walk around Hatta Hill Park and then grab your bike and head to Hatta Mountain Bike Trail Centre.

A trip to Al Ain, a refreshing oasis of green amid the harsh desert, offers a scenic break from the hum of Abu Dhabi.
