You can do a combination of car and flight from Mozambique Island to Beira in 6 hours. Another option is to drive. Traveling from Mozambique Island in June, you will find days in Beira are a bit cooler (30°C), and nights are about the same (20°C). On the 24th (Thu), you'll travel to Manica.

Tofo
