Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Colosseum and Vatican Museums. Take a break from the city and head to Colle del Gianicolo and Colle Aventino. There's much more to do: admire the striking features of Pantheon, visit Trastevere, admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Santa Maria in Trastevere.

Often referred to as the gem of the Amalfi Coast, Positano remains one of southern Italy's most sought-after vacation locales, thanks to its hillside location and picturesque, pastel buildings.
Take a break from the city and head to Fornillo and Spiaggia Grande. Get a sense of the local culture at Duomo di Ravello and Villa Rufolo. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Positano: Ravello (Ravello - Atrani Walk, Villa Cimbrone Gardens, &more) and Amalfi (Museo della Carta & Duomo di Sant'Andrea).
