In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
On the 11th (Sat), stroll around Sempione Park, browse the range of quality goods at Rinascente Milano, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Milano.

Venice to Milan is an approximately 2.5- hour train ride. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and flight. In June in Milan, expect temperatures between 33°C during the day and 20°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Sat) early enough to catch the train to Florence.

You can take a train from Milan to Florence in 2 hours. Other options are to drive; or fly. Expect a daytime high around 33°C in June, and nighttime lows around 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sun) so you can take a train to Pisa.

Known worldwide for the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the city of Pisa historically served as a maritime power in the heart of Tuscany.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Mon): admire the landmark architecture of St Martin Cathedral, take in panoramic vistas at Torre Guinigi, then stop by Zazzi Dallamano, and finally steep yourself in history at Le mura di Lucca. Traveling by train from Florence to Pisa takes an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or drive. Plan for slightly colder nights when traveling from Florence in June since evenings lows in Pisa dip to 18°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 14th (Tue) so you can go by car to Venice.
