In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Venture out of the city with trips to Santuario Della Madonna delle Grazie di San Martino (in Griante), Bellagio (Museo degli Strumenti per la Navigazione, Enoteca Principessa, &more) and Santuario Madonna delle Lacrime (in Dongo). Antananarivo, Madagascar to Milan is an approximately 21-hour flight. The time zone changes from East Africa Time to Central European Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference. Verona

The famous setting for Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, Verona is one of northern Italy's main tourist destinations, largely owing to its incredibly rich artistic heritage.
Take a break from Verona with a short trip to Scuola Sci Asiago in Asiago, about 1h 20 min away.
