As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Start off your visit on the 28th (Fri): walk around Victory Park, appreciate the history behind Island of Tears, take in the spiritual surroundings of Holy Spirit Cathedral, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Saints Simon and Helena, then make a trip to Independence Square, Minsk, and finally find something for the whole family at Gorky Central Park. On your second day here, admire the natural beauty at Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, then stroll around Chelyuskinites Park, then make a trip to Minsk City Hall, and finally learn about all things military at Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
