Experience small-town Bali in Ubud, an atmospheric town surrounded by small settlements, farms, and rice paddies.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ubud: Mason Elephant Park (in Tegalalang), Sanur (Pura Tirta Empul Segara Merta Sari & Fusion Freedive and Spearfishing) and Kintamani Highland (in Kintamani). On the 22nd (Wed), spend an enriching day at Green Camp Bali. There's lots more to do: stroll through Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, admire the masterpieces at Don Antonio Blanco Museum, Head underground at Elephant Cave, and don't miss a visit to Tegalalang Rice Terrace.

A snaking coastline and quaint, sleepy fishing villages characterize Amed, a stretch of shorefront with seven villages in Bali's east.
When in Amed, make a side trip to see Jasri Beach in Subagan, approximately Subagan away. On the 1st (Sat), dedicate a day to the elevated beauty of Mount Agung. There's still lots to do: discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, stroll through White Sand Beach Yoga, relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, and admire the natural beauty at Taman Tirtagangga.

Seminyak

A popular resort town offering a good range of tourist trips, activities, and amenities, Seminyak houses numerous tour companies providing excursions into the jungles of Bali.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Seminyak: Tanah Lot Temple (in Beraban), Nirwana Bali Golf Club (in Tabanan) and Pecatu (Bingin Beach & Uluwatu Temple). There's lots more to do: make a splash at Waterbom Bali, relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, see Off-Road Tours, and stroll through Seminyak Beach.
