A capital of the self-declared state of Somaliland, Hargeisa is the second-largest city in Somalia.
Kick off your visit on the 28th (Thu): explore the galleries of Saryan Museum, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at MiG Jet, and then browse the fresh offerings at Livestock Market. On the 29th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the striking landscape at Laas Geel and then browse the different shops at Dahabshiil Business Centre.

Swim in the warm waters, stroll over white sand, or play volleyball and other sports on the beaches of Mogadishu, the White Pearl of the Indian Ocean.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Sat): don't miss a visit to Shanghai Old City, kick back and relax at Liido Beach Somalia, and then pause for some photo ops at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier -Mogadishu. Keep things going the next day: browse the eclectic array of goods at Bakara Market, take in the spiritual surroundings of Hadful Mosque, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Gezira Beach.

Traveling by flight from Hargeysa to Mogadishu takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Traveling from Hargeysa in January, expect Mogadishu to be somewhat warmer, temps between 34°C and 28°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 31st (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
