Kick off your visit on the 24th (Sun): see the interesting displays at Imperial Palace (Hofburg), contemplate the long history of Belvedere Palace, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Stephen's Cathedral. On your second day here, take in nature's colorful creations at Schönbrunn Palace and then meet the residents at Schönbrunn Zoo.

You can do a combination of train, flight, and bus from Prague to Vienna in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. June in Vienna sees daily highs of 28°C and lows of 15°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 26th (Tue) so you can go by car to Budapest.

You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Wed): get a sense of history and politics at Residence Parliament, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), then admire the landmark architecture of Matthias Church, and finally make a trip to Fisherman's Bastion. On your second day here, pause for some photo ops at Shoes on the Danube Bank, then boost your wellbeing at a local thermal spa, then see the interesting displays at House of Terror, and finally take in the views from Chain Bridge (Szechenyi lanchid).
