The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
Get in touch with nature at Golfclub Schloss Schönborn and FONTANA Golfclub. Visit Schonbrunn Palace and Central Cemetery (Zentralfriedhof) for their historical value. Step out of Vienna with an excursion to Winzer Krems in Krems an der Donau--about 1h 5 min away.
