With an illustrious history as a main stop along the Great Silk Road, Khiva boasts remarkably well-preserved cultural attractions and a beautiful historic core.
Step out of Khiva to go to Urgench and see Urgench Youth Lake Complex, which is approximately 50 minutes away. There's much more to do: explore the ancient world of Itchan Kala, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kalta Minor Minaret, explore the historical opulence of Stone Palace (Tash Khauli), and contemplate the long history of Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum.

Nassau, Bahamas to Khiva is an approximately 28- hour combination of flight and car. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 10 hours traveling from Nassau to Khiva.
