You'll find plenty of places to visit near Rovinj: Pula (Agrippina's House, Amphitheatre de Pula, &more), Novigrad (City Walls & Aquapark Istralandia) and Porec (Porec Old Town, Lion Gothic House, &more). An hour boat ride from Split on the island of Brac, Bol boasts a charming old town, pebble beach, and great windsurfing conditions. Historical charm abounds here in the form of stone houses, narrow pedestrian streets, and historical attractions marked with panels.
Get out of town with these interesting Bol side-trips: Postira (Kastil Gospodnetic Dol & Our Lady of Gorma), Museum of Brac (in Skrip) and Parish church complex (in Supetar). There's lots more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Zlatni Rat Beach (Golden Horn), do a tasting at Stina, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and browse the exhibits of Jaksic Gallery.

Traveling from Rovinj in June, expect a bit warmer with lows of 22°C in Bol. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Tue) so you can go by car to Split.
