Crossroads of Europe
Strasbourg is famous for its beautiful historical center, the Grande Île, which was the first city center classified entirely as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.You'll find plenty of places to visit near Strasbourg: Kintzheim (La montagne des singes & La Volerie des aigles), Old Town (in Colmar) and Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg (in Orschwiller). There's still lots to do: walk around Parc de l'Orangerie, steep yourself in history at Fort de Mutzig, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg.
