Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Venture out of the city with trips to Tivoli (Villa d'Este & Villa Adriana), Orvieto (Duomo di Orvieto & Decugnano dei Barbi) and Monastero Di S.Benedetto (in Subiaco). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Colosseum, admire the masterpieces at Galleria Borghese, take in the spiritual surroundings of Vatican Museums, and explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill.

If you are flying in from Pakistan, the closest major aiports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport and Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport. In July, plan for daily highs up to °C, and evening lows to °C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
