Get out of town with these interesting Ravello side-trips: Positano (Il Sentiero Degli Dei, L'Uomo e il Mare, &more). Made up of five picturesque towns on the Ligurian coast, Cinque Terre is Italy's answer to the French Riviera.
Venture out of the city with trips to Genoa (Boccadasse & Aquarium of Genoa) and Portovenere (in Porto Venere). Spend the 14th (Fri) exploring nature at Parco Nazionale Cinque Terre. There's much more to do: stroll through Footpath Monterosso - Vernazza, get outside with Cinque Terre Trails, and get into the urban bustle at Vernazza.

Getting from Florence to Cinque Terre by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a train. Traveling from Florence in June, plan for little chillier nights in Cinque Terre, with lows around 60°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Sat) so you can go by car to Milan.
