In north-central Switzerland, Lucerne represents a small city boasting a well-preserved old town.
Explore Lucerne's surroundings by going to Zurich (Old Town, Niederdorf, &more) and Titlis (in Engelberg). When in Grindelwald, make a side trip to see Lake Brienz in Brienz, approximately Brienz away.
