You can take a train from Rome to Cinque Terre in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or fly. Traveling from Rome in July, Cinque Terre is a bit cooler at night with lows of 65°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Pienza.
