Kampala enjoys the reputation of a modern city with a buzzing atmosphere--it also serves as a good base point for exploring the surrounding area.
Explore Kampala's surroundings by going to Entebbe (Entebbe Botanic Gardens & Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre). Spend the 20th (Sun) spotting exotic species with a safari tour.
