The city of Mecca boasts the statues of the holiest site in Islam, and represents the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad and therefore the religion itself.
On the 14th (Mon), see the sky in a new way at Makkah Clock Tower Museum and then admire the striking features of Kaaba. On the next day, admire the landmark architecture of Abraj Al-Bait Towers and then take in the awesome beauty at Jabal al-Nour.

You can drive from Jeddah to Mecca in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Expect somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Jeddah in March: highs in Mecca hover around 97°F, while lows dip to 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Wed) so you can travel to Sakhir.
