Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.
On the 4th (Sat), get engrossed in the history at City Palace of Jaipur, then step into the grandiose world of Jal Mahal, and then step into the grandiose world of Amber Palace. On the 5th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take a stroll through Rusirani Village, take in the spiritual surroundings of Moti Dungari Temple, then stop by Satyam Silver, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Akshardham Temple.

Traveling by flight from Udaipur to Jaipur takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In January in Jaipur, expect temperatures between 26°C during the day and 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sun) so you can drive to Agra.

When traveling from Jaipur in January, plan for slightly colder days in Agra, with highs around 22°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 8°C.
