Santiago

— 14 nights

City of the Island Hills

Santiago tourism thrives largely thanks to the city's big selection of cultural and entertainment options, including museums, theaters, restaurants, bars, and giant malls.
Change things up with these side-trips from Santiago: River Rafting & Tubing (in San Jose de Maipo), Valparaiso (La Sebastiana & Walking tours) and Vina del Mar (Corporacion Museo de Arqueologia e Historia Francisco Fonck & Flower Clock (Reloj de Flores)). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Cerro Santa Lucia, admire the landmark architecture of Metropolitan Cathedral (Catedral Metropolitana), admire the masterpieces at Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, and browse the different shops at Costanera Center.
