As the country's biggest port and one of the busiest in all of Europe, Hamburg has a well-deserved reputation as Germany's Gateway to the World.
Explore hidden gems such as Schwerin Castle (Schweriner Schloss) and Travemunde. Get some historical perspective at St. Michael's Church and Historische Altstadt. Explore hidden gems such as Reichsburg Cochem and Hauptmarkt. Do your shopping at Myland and K in Lautern. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Trier: Romische Langmauer (in Herforst), Koblenz (Deutsches Eck (German Corner) & Ehrenbreitstein Fortress) and Monument Geschiedenis Cochem (in Cochem).
