Long regarded as a gray and traffic-congested provincial town with little tourist appeal, Pristina today possesses a youthful vibrance and a newfound sense of sophistication, as the result of the city's large community of foreign functionaries.
Change things up with these side-trips from Pristina: Gracanica Monastery (in Gracanica), Pec (Patriarchate of Pec & Old Bazaar of Peja) and Prizren (Emin Pasa Camii (Emin Pasha Mosque), Kalaja Fortress, &more). There's much more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Visoki Decani Monastery, stroll around Germia Park, pause for some photo ops at Newborn Monument, and get your bearings at Pristina National Library.

One of Europe's most relaxed and newest capital cities, Podgorica sits on the confluence of two rivers, with two sides of it offering two different options for exploring.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Sun): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. On the 15th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: snap pictures at Virpazar Stone Bridge, get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Skadar.

Go for a jaunt from Mostar to Studenci to see Kravica about 54 minutes away.
