Kick off your visit on the 16th (Mon): explore the historical opulence of Alatskivi Castle (vald), then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Uspenski Cathedral of the Estonian Apostolic Orthodox Church, then examine the collection at University of Tartu Museum Tartu Ülikooli muuseum, and finally wander the streets of Tartu Old City. On the 17th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: make a trip to Struve’s Geodetic Arch and then contemplate the waterfront views at Pühajärv.
