Gateway to the Highlands

Inverness, often described as the Gateway to the Highlands, is a thriving commercial and industrial center.
Explore Inverness' surroundings by going to Grantown Antiques and Collectables (in Grantown-on-Spey), Aviemore (Loch Morlich, Loch an Eilein, &more) and Nairn Beach (in Nairn). The adventure continues: gain some tasty knowledge on a distillery tour, witness the site of a historic battle at Culloden Battlefield, contemplate the waterfront views at River Ness, and indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour.

Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Kick off your visit on the 14th (Thu): explore the activities along Loch Linnhe Picnic Area, admire the verdant scenery at Glen Coe, then look for all kinds of wild species at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, and finally don't miss a visit to Ballachulish Slate Quarry. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 15th (Fri): take in the dramatic scenery at Steall Waterfall, take in the awesome beauty at Nevis Range Mountain Resort, and then get a dose of the wild on Wilderness Guides Day Tours.

Scotland's Style Capital

Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow is known for its cultural heritage and the friendliness of its people.
