Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Appreciate the collections at War Photo Limited and Rector's Palace. For shopping fun, head to Gift and Art Shop Medusa or Tedi. When in Dubrovnik, make a side trip to see Sunj beach in Lopud, approximately 1h 30 min away. Lisbon, Portugal to Dubrovnik is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Lisbon to Dubrovnik. When traveling from Dubrovnik in August, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Korcula Town: temperatures range from 39°C by day to 21°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Tue) so you can travel to Hvar.
