Experience an authentic Adriatic lifestyle in Split, the largest city along the sea's coast.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Mon): take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of St. Roko, then pause for some photo ops at Cathedral of Saint Domnius, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church Of St. Roch. On the next day, make a trip to Split Synagogue, stop by Filigran Split, then see the interesting displays at Froggyland, then steep yourself in history at Old Split, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Bacvice Beach.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Split is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and train. Step off the beaten path and head to Hilltop 15th Century Church of St. George in Old Town Primosten and Rak Winery. Step out of the city life by going to Beach Slanica and Sokolarski Raptor Centre. Venture out of the city with trips to Primosten (Primosten Honey shop Gracin, Velika Raduca Beach, &more) and Murter (Podvrske Beach & Cigrada Beach). There's more to do: steep yourself in history at St. Michael's Fortress and take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Cathedral of St James in Sibenik.

Situated along the Adriatic Sea, Zadar preserves a medieval old town that is entirely contained on a peninsula.
Visiting Simuni Beach and Cista Beach will get you outdoors. Your inner history buff will appreciate Zadar Cathedral and The Church of the Holy Cross. Step out of Zadar to go to Vir and see Jadro Beach, which is approximately 34 minutes away.
