With a rich cultural scene and plenty of developed beaches, Montevideo vacations appeal to a growing number of visitors from around the world.
Get a sense of the local culture at Museo – Taller de Casapueblo and Palacio Taranco. Get some historical perspective at Iglesia de las Carmelitas and Iglesia San Juan Bautista. Go for a jaunt from Montevideo to Piriapolis to see Playa Punta Colorada about 1h 35 min away. The adventure continues: step into the grandiose world of Castillo Pittamiglio, enjoy some diversion at Estadio Centenario, examine the collection at Museo del Carnaval, and get a sense of history and politics at Palacio Legislativo.
