Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Venture out of the city with trips to Bled (Ojstrica, Bled Island, &more). Spend the 11th (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Bohinjsko Jezero

The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Wed): explore the activities along Lake Bohinj, take in the dramatic scenery at Savica Waterfall, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vogel, then explore the different monuments and memorials at Ukanc Military Cemetery, and finally see the interesting displays at Oplen House Museum.
