Established in 1602, the lakeside town of Paipa has emerged as one of the main tourist centers in the region, with a good infrastructure and plenty of accommodations.
On the 9th (Thu), pause for some photo ops at Vargas Swamp Lancers. On the 10th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: identify plant and animal life at Sendero Ecologico la Zarza and then pause for some serene contemplation at St. Lawrence Cathedral.
