The capital and largest city of Oman, the coastal city of Muscat boasts numerous historical sites and pristine modern developments.
Take a break from Muscat with a short trip to Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve in Seeb, about 44 minutes away. Once the capital of the sultanate, Nizwa stands as one of the longest-established urban areas in the country, and has retained its traditional core.
Venture out of the city with trips to Al Hamra (Wadi Nakhr Canyon & Al Hoota Cave).
