    Another place that I re-visited since my first trip in 1984. Still the same but more people around- population of the world has only doubled since then! A very nice park.  more »

    The Parc des Bastions is a large and centrally located park and it offers an assortment of activities to do and see while visiting. There is the Reformation Wall, Library, University, Palace, games....  more »

    Enjoy the Park in summer,under one of its century -old trees,listening to music from the whole world during the June Music festival- or basking in the sun admiring the Old Town walls behind it. In December there s a flavour of other European Christmas markets,with colourful stalls filled with wool shawls,hats,and delicious teas and honeys.Not forgetting local specialties to be enjoyed even on the chilliest day.

    What a beautiful park! We ended here after a walk through old town and sat down for dinner at the restaurant where the old bandstand was. Perfect evening.
