Bernisches Historisches Museum - Einstein Museum
Get a sense of the capital city's long history in a broader world context at Bernisches Historisches Museum - Einstein Museum. The second largest historical museum in Switzerland, it houses 500,000 artifacts from the Stone Age up to modern day. The building housing the relics is itself an attraction: built in 1894, it was inspired by 15th- and 16th-century Swiss castles. The incorporated Einstein Museum tells the story of the famous scientist who developed his Theory of Relativity while living in the city. Stop for a coffee and pastry at the on-site bistro or bring a picnic to enjoy in the museum's park. Make sure to go all the way up the top of the Einstein Museum for superb views of Bern and the Alps. This was one of the most interesting museums I've visited while traveling. The Swiss history museum was impeccably designed and they took great care in how they displayed the relics and various artifacts. This is a wonderful building. Totally beautiful on the outside and very well done on the inside also. The story of Einstein was beautifully done and coupled with the history of Bern

If you love enistien like me this is a must place to visit. I drove about an hour to get to this place it was all worth it. You get to see lots of fun things about him and see his watch his book and things he wrote. The only thing that sucks is they need lot of souvenirs to sell for tourist. I wanted to buy but I was only able to buy a kitchen magnet which I was happy with.
