  • We drove my this place on our way to Emmentaler cheese factory, The castle and its old town was very endearing.  more »
  • We visited only because we wanted to see the prison where our ancestor Tauffer/Anabaptists ancestors were persecuted. The castle is off the road and up the hill. We did not have an appointment, so...  more »
  • Nice. Not so much to see but there's a lovely view at the top of the tower
  • Very interesting because there are cells in upper floors where Anabaptist believers were held for their beliefs after the Reformation. It's a free self guided tour. Plans are to make improvements so more of the castle can be accessible to the public. Very scenic views through windows of upper floors.
