  Pivka intermittent lakes are somehow forgotten in Slovenian Kars region. There are some more popular Karst phenomena in the vicinity (Cerkniško jezero, Škocjanske jame ...) so this precious natural...  more »

  The museum is great for kind, but can get a bit boring for adults. The museum provides a map of the whole Pivka municipality, but lacks a more detailed map of the paths around the intermittent lakes.....  more »

  Perfect place for hiking, bikeing or just enjoying the nature. There are zillion hiking trails in the vicinity, all easy and comfy, perfect even when weather is not.
