  • Great Museum for the family! The children's museum is a part of this. They have a fantastic play area that my daughters loved. The rest of the museum has a lot of historical exhibits, which is what you would expect. Bonus, you get in free to other museums on the same day and half price the next day. So if you plan well, you can get a great deal out of it.
  • Nice museum to visit, especially with kids. There is a small virtual reality exhibit that lets you follow along with the migratory flight of seagulls. Both our kids and us parents enjoyed that small exhibit. There's also a cool/weird exhibit where they project 3D holograms in a room of various animal skulls with human faces projected onto them which are singing. Interesting. There's also a doll making experience whichever my boys enjoyed but girls would likely enjoy even more. Most, but not all, exhibits have English in addition to Norwegian text. Anyway, a nice museum overall. Also, paid entry into this museum allows free same day entry into one (or more?) other museums in the area.
