    We went during a busy time - around 9pm in January during the summer school holidays so we had to wait in line for about an hour before going up. You can avoid the queue by going later in the night...  more »

    Great to do a night, get there 1/2 hr before dusk as we queued for about 30 minutes. Not very easy for younger children that you would have to carry. Only one way round. Very surreal but loved it.  more »

    A Very Pleasant Experience. Very Interesting and informative Treewalk. Wonderful Tree Walk. Never experienced such an adventure in my life. Being a Botanist, I was very happy to view the Conifers on the ground and atop the suspension wooden bridge from a height of 20 metres. The walk was very nice. Appreciations to New Zealand Government.

    Excellent place for trekking and being close to nature. The walks in the forest are absolutely free. Only if you would like to walk on the tree bridges or do the zip line, then you would have to pay. We were here during summer in the afternoon, and the cool crisp air was very refreshing. Plenty of parking spaces. Some trails are pet-friendly. You can also do trail running here.
