Tenuta Torciano, Ulignano

Visiting this winery was one of the highlights of our trip through Italy. The wine tasting was fabulous. We purchased wines, oils, and other specialty items. Donato made our experience truly unique. That was this highlight of the experience. I wish it ended there as I bought more wine and oils upon my return to the USA. The shipping was a game of 'hot potato', and no one would take responsibility. So I ended up spending 7 hours of my workday addressing and correcting the shipping problems from the winery, their shipper and FedEx. AND to make matters worse...there was zero effort of the winery, their shipper or FedEx to make things right. As we all know, issues happen, it's how you correct them that creates and defines your customer service... If only their customer service was a good as their wine and oils. The 'romance factor' that we enjoyed in Tuscany was turned...

We arrived at this wine farm, just as the sun was setting. It is remarkable in beauty and positioned in a nice little valley. The staff treated us as though we were family, with a short tour of the premises and introductions. The food was divine, like eating a home cooked meal at your grandmother's house. The wine was greatly paired with the food, and the whole experience was unforgettable!
