Originally the estate of a noble Roman family, Villa Doria Pamphili boasts the largest landscaped park in this city. The site, open to the public, features beautiful rose gardens, a wide variety of trees, and plenty of entertainment and events, including a concert series and live theater performances. Walk down its manicured paths, enjoy a picnic, and view the 17th-century villa that belonged to the Pamphili family for centuries before the state acquired it. This park provides a quiet escape from the buzzing tourist centers of Rome. See Villa Doria Pamphili and all Rome has to offer by arranging your trip with our Rome road trip planning app.

Humongous city park with infinite pathways along the many stretches of lawns. Secular trees and a breathtaking villa to be visited. Excellent site for jogging , picnic or simply walk.

Beautiful peaceful park. Love strolling in there. It is a real big area full of beautiful vivid nature in the midst of Rome. Plants and singing birds of all kinds. Statues and refreshing water places. Water fountains with drinking water frequent enough to not to have to carry your own water bottle.
