  • My first time visiting Rome was ruined by visiting this place. We were trying to rent a scooter for just an hour to see a few of the beautiful sites. With a scooter right in front of their...  more »

  • Signed up for a 9:30 am tour (we had to leave for our train at 12:00). Tour didn’t meet until 10:10. With additional waiting times (this was the fault of the Vatican, not the company) we didn’t get in until 11:00 am. Tour guide was wonderful, but we didn’t have time to enjoy any of it. The company did not give even a partial refund (only offered to give a full refund if we didn’t enter the Vatican). I’m sure there are much better and on-time companies out there.
  • We booked a papal audience and tour, to start at 7:15. After a very early start, we got there in time, but had to wait until 745 to leave the office for the audience. The woman on the desk could hardly speak English and was very rude. On the way we had to literally run after the guide, who had no flag and told us to meet them at a random place, and they would not wait. This meant that we had to miss the end if the audience, which was disappointing. We then had to return to the office, wait for another 30 minutes before 30 of us set off. The guide for The museum was very knowledgeable, but at this point was running late and rushed through most of the tour. 2 hours is not enough to visit the Vatican, and don't be fooled that you need a guide for a papal audience or that the fact they have a desk near the termini tourist information. Avoid and use another company.
