  • A donkey flying on a facade of a house. It dates back to the 1960s when a group of young people including many architecture students wanted to react to the degradation of the area and entrust to some murals their request for renovation, in the midst of which stood out the inscription "Let's take back Rome". Among these boys was Isabella Rossellini who designed her dachshund dog. The murals were cancelled. And only the donkey was saved

  • This mural has a special charm and makes the Palazzetto that hosts it fascinating. This work painted in the now distant 1976, surely is one of the first examples of "street art" in Rome. It is part of an initiative of a group of young people who called themselves "the donkey that flies" who wanted to draw attention to the many problems of the area, not least the increasingly rampant degradation. Then they "requalify" the surrounding area in their own way, decorating abandoned palaces, with murals that wanted to convey a message of commitment to the rehabilitation of the area. The palaces d that side of the road uninhabited and with the windows walled, were completely covered by murals (as you can see on some photos of the time), when the municipality performed the work of requalification, were removed, with the exception precisely Of the most characteristic and meaningful: If an "donkey flies", anything is possible.
