Mercato Trionfale reviews
This is not your usual tourist destination. If you want to see a bunch of local Romans shopping at a market, this is the place to go. We bought some much-needed fruit and some nuts here. more »
Fairly large market, nice fruits and veggies. My friend and I had some of the sandwiches, which were good. A nice stop near the Vatican! more »
Great local market ! They have a lot of cheese and meat here as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. The biggest upside is the cheap prices. The downside is you have to come really early to get the biggest selection. Especially the seafood and fish. They open really early and by 9-10 am most of the seafood is already sold.
Best place to buy the beautiful fruits and veggies. The butter was a amazing and so was the cheese. We chose vendors further away from the entrance. The eggs were really cheap and we even found a vendor who sold Spivey peppers and cilantro for salsa :)
