Somewhat overshadowed by the nearby Borghese Gallery, though full of interesting art, Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna E Contemporanea houses artwork from the last 200 years. Comprised of 75 rooms, it holds the largest collection of Italian art from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as work from many famous artists from around the world, such as Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh, and Pollock. Modern and contemporary art blend here in a creatively presented format. After your visit to the museum, rest your feet in the statue-filled garden outside. With our custom trip planner, Rome attractions like Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna E Contemporanea can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

Great thought provoking art. Open from 8:30am to 7:30pm every day except Mondays. Features mostly Italian artists, however there are a few foreign artists who feature here such as Van Gogh. The iconic steps and front facade are worth a snap too

Really nice place to visit. If you want a slow pace enjoyable experience this is it. They have bathrooms and cafe. Although i thought the cafe prices were a little steep. They have a lot of different kind of art, not for smaller children.
