  • Almost nothing has been preserved from this once-large object, only a small fragment. A huge area about 600 meters long and 100 meters wide, where the largest ancient circus was located...  more »

  • Interesting because of what it was, not so much because of what it is today. None of the structures that used to make up the Circus are still present, though you can see the outline of the track which is something. It just doesn't compare to the big sights like the Pantheon or the Colosseum, but it is worth paying a visit if you have the time
  • This is an interesting landmark to see if only for its historical significance. Basically, it is just a remnant now with the track still there to see. You can imagine where the legendary chariot races used to occur but it is a place now to sit, rest, take a break and imagine what occurred here a couple of millenia ago.
