  • A good short tour around the bunkers, there are several of them. You experience an insight into what it would have been like to be in the tunnels with an air raid. There is also the house you can go.....  more »
  • My wife and I decided to book this as something out of the ordinary in Rome, and as there were no places left on an English-speaking tour, we paid extra to have one just for the two of us. As someone....  more »

  • Forgot crowded Colosseum and Foras and enjoy raw history of Rome. The interiors are very modestly furnished (are you supprised? After all these years without proper care) but commentation is rich and whole experience is really authentic. The tour has to be reserved (via booking system on web pages) and pre-paid! Reservation is easy and communication with guides are fast and good. Guides level of English was excellent as well as knowledge about place and history.
  • I visited this Villa with my son last February. You can book online for a €20 fare per person a guided tour of the Mussolini Bunker. Guided tours are Italian spoken. The promenade goes thru the park, While you can be watching and taking pictures of the different buildings of Villa Torlonia . You are given a short description of each venues history. These buildings were built by Giuseppe Torlonia and his son, Alexander in the XIX Century. Be prepared to go up and down stairs thru narrow passages. At the end of the tour you are given a touching and vivid simulacrum of a bombing raid while the room gets in the dark. The entrance to the park is free, and people comes here for running, promenading or just walking their dogs. Try to wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Sneakers are the best. No public toilettes available during the tour.
