  • Time on their website tells you that it is opened all day but when you get there, they only have it open for the public for a few hours. And even then, they had to find someone who would take me in....  more »

  • Having come to Rome over the last 25 years, having found this gem was quite breathtaking! This 17th century library is open to the scholars and students of today as well as to the general public between the hours of 11:30am - 1pm. The staff is quite friendly and Marianna was the librarian who escorted me to the main hall. When you first enter the main library, it really takes your breath away. The care and preservation is remarkable. The striking details in the book cases and craftsmanship is very nice too. Highly recommend both young children and adults alike visit this library and feel the history around them. The Mapped globes were pretty cool to see too and reflect on what was known of the world during those times too.
